How many post-operative appointments are required, and what are they?

Depending on the procedure, there can be anywhere from one post-operative appointment up to 4-5. They would be on day 1, day 3, day 6, and day 10. Further appointments may be required depending on your healing process.

Can you provide me with a list of convenience and/or grocery stores in the area?

Yes. We have convenience, grocery, and health food stores within minutes of our office and/or our recommended hotels.

Are there any good take-out food places in the area?

Yes. There are many restaurants in the area that offer take-out food.

What kind of paperwork is involved in this process?

You will be provided with all pre-operative documentation approximately 4-6 weeks prior to surgery.

Do I need a medical clearance from my family doctor?

Yes, and you will be provided with the required form.

Will I need someone to assist me after the procedure if I am coming alone?

Yes. Anesthesia requires 2-6 hours of care post-procedure, depending on the procedure performed. If needed, we can recommend a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) to assist you at a nominal fee. We can assist with all preliminary scheduling.
